Of late we’ve been wondering what new looks have appeared that push the boundaries of the typical short afro, and just spotted Tanzanian model Herieth Paul sporting an elliptical hairline in the September 2011 issue of Elle. The hair styled by Bok Hee from Streeters. Hair aside, we had to chuckle a little to ourselves when we learned that this shoot was not taken on any African savannah as the dusty plains and wandering zebra’s might suggest, the backdrop is actually in Arizona….
